Privacy Policy

The SYL-X online store is hosted by Shopify Inc., a Canadian company registered on the TSX and NYSE under number 426160-7, whose head office is located at 151 O'Connor Street Ground Floor, Ottawa, Ontario K2P 2L8 Canada, and whose cookie policy applies to the SYL-X store website.

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the specific web pages or products that you view, the websites or search terms that referred you to the Site, and your interaction with the Site. We call this automatically collected information “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

• COOKIES Here is a list of cookies that we use. We have listed them here so that you have the option to choose whether to allow them or not.
• session_id, a unique session identifier, allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.).
• shopify_visit, no data retained, persists for 30 minutes since last visit. Used by our website provider's internal statistics tracking system to record the number of visits.
• shopify_uniq, no data retained, expires at midnight (depending on visitor location) the following day. Calculates the number of visits to a store by a unique customer.
• cart, unique identifier, persists for 2 weeks, stores information about your shopping cart.
• secure_session_id, unique session identifier
• storefront_digest, unique identifier, undefined if the store is password protected, used to determine if the current visitor has access.
• “Log files” track Site activity and collect data such as your IP address, the type of browser you are using, your Internet service provider, your referring and exit pages, and your date and time stamp. .
• “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files that record information about how you navigate the Site.

Additionally, when you make or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information about you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers or information of other payment methods you can use), email address and telephone number. This automatically collected information is referred to as “Order Information”.

When we use the term “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to both Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

The SYL-X website reserves the right to make any changes to this clause on the protection of personal data at any time. If a modification is made to this clause on the protection of personal data, the SYL-X website undertakes to publish the new version on its website.
